IDAlert at the 9th SOVE International Congress in Chania, Greece

IDAlert took part in the 9th SOVE International Congress, organized by the Society for Vector Ecology (SOVE) and held in Chania, Greece, from 12–17 October 2025.

As part of the congress, a Specialty Symposium titled “Ecosystems for Health: Advancing One Health and Nature-Based Solutions” was organized by Frederic Bartumeus (Centre for Advanced Studies of Blanes, Spain), Joacim Rocklöv (Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, Heidelberg University, Germany), and Antonios Michaelakis (Benaki Phytopathological Institute, Greece). The symposium was co-organized by the Horizon Europe projects IDAlert and E4Warning.

Antonios Michaelakis and Frederic Bartumeus chaired the sessions, and several IDAlert members presented key outcomes from the project. Their contributions, published in the Abstract Book of the congress, further enhanced the international visibility and recognition of IDAlert’s scientific work and collaborative impact.
